Hello! I'm Liam, a 17-year-old student living in Austin, TX. I'm interested in all things data and computer science, from fake news statistics to GLSL shaders. Currently, I'm pursuing my interest in environmental data science and engineering. Last summer, I attended TCU's Neeley Analytics Academy and UT's Summer Academy for Robotics, as well as applying my knowledge to a climate research fellowship at Stanford. Outside of programming, I enjoy playing the piano. I've played for thirteen years (ever since I was four), and it has culminated in my recent victory at a concerto competition. I also climb competitively, for which I attended speed climbing nationals this past summer. The summer before that, I spent a month in Norway, where I discovered a foreign culture and polished my sport climbing skills. Finally comes my interest in mathematics. My interest in math from a young age has inspired projects and course selections, and is the driving factor of my deep interest in data science and engineering.
Below is a list of the technologies I am familiar with, having completed at least one project with each. These include web development frameworks, programming languages, and major libraries like TensorFlow, a machine learning library developed by Google.
I've been playing piano for thirteen years, ever since I was four. In middle school, I participated in my school's band in addition to private lessons. In high school, also in addition to private lessons, I played in my school's jazz band, and I am now in my school's orchestra and sinfonietta. After winning my school's concerto competition, I was selected to play Rachmaninoff's Second Piano Concerto (Third Movement) alongside our orchestra. Some past songs of mine since the Spring of 2021 are listed below.
